Fire
the group text.

Schedules, lockbox codes, photo proof, "where are you?" — right now your whole operation lives and dies in a chat thread. The Rinsebase crew app replaces it: a native iOS and Android app, in each cleaner's own language, that briefs your crew before they park, proves their work while they clean, and turns their day into timesheets, mileage, and photo proof without anyone typing a thing.

6:45 every morning

The group text built your business.
Now it's capping it.

It's 6:45am and you're already thumbing out today's schedule, re-sending a lockbox code from three weeks ago, reminding someone to take photos, and translating all of it for half your crew. By 9pm, the proof that your crew turned a $2M listing is buried somewhere above "who has the vacuum?" — unsearchable, unverifiable, and invisible to payroll.

Here's the thing: the group text won because your crew actually reads it. That's the bar any app has to clear — and it's why every other system dies in two weeks. An English-only webpage squeezed onto a phone loses to WhatsApp every time.

So we built the crew app like a tool, not a form: the cleaner's day gets easier first, and the data your office needs — time, photos, mileage, supplies — falls out of them simply doing their job.

Everything the group text loses, the app keeps.
Lockbox codes on every job, always current "Send pics when done" verified photo proof, required per checklist "What time did you leave?" GPS timesheets Gas money guesswork auto-logged mileage at the IRS rate "We're out of paper towels" restock alert your client sees "Is anyone near me??" one-tap SOS with live location
On every job

A briefing,
not an address.

Open a job and everything a cleaner needs is on one screen — no calls to the office, no scrolling the group chat:

The property, ready to work. Address with one-tap directions, lockbox code, parking notes, property quirks, and which laundry bags — attached to the property, always current.
The turnover window, made obvious. Guest checkout time, next check-in time, and a back-to-back badge when the window is tight — so the crew knows which cleans can't slip.
The checklist, with required photos. The property's own room-by-room checklist, with photo requirements enforced per item — the job can't complete until the proof exists.
"On my way" in one tap. Crew taps en route, the office sees it live on the dispatch map — no "where are you?" texts.
Supplies and issues, reported in place. Flag low supplies, report damage or pests with photos, log lost & found — while standing in the room, not from memory at 9pm.
Proof, not promises

Photos that can't be faked.
Time that can't be fudged.

Everything your clients pay you to prove, the app captures as a side effect of the crew working:

3-layer verified photos. Camera-only capture (no gallery uploads), EXIF timestamp validation, and a GPS proximity check against the property address. A photo in Rinsebase means the crew was there, then.
Photos that survive dead zones. No signal at the cabin? Photos queue on the device and upload automatically when coverage returns. No lost proof, no re-drives.
GPS clock-in and clock-out. Timesheets are built from verified location records — and geofence reminders catch the clock-out everyone forgets. Payroll reads the same records, with per-property pay rates.
Mileage that logs itself. GPS tracks the drive between jobs at the IRS rate — in the background, even while the crew navigates in Google Maps. Reimbursement stops being a guessing game.
Rinsebase crew app mileage screen — GPS auto-tracked trips with miles, reimbursement amounts, and pending approval status
GPS-tracked mileage — start when you leave, stop when you arrive.
Safety & the team

Solo in a stranger's house
shouldn't mean alone.

One-tap SOS. Hold the button and the owner and manager are alerted immediately with the cleaner's live GPS location — and a 911 button is right there on the same screen if they need it. It lives on the home screen of every crew member's app.
Team chat and job messages, built in. Channels, direct messages, and per-job threads with photo attachments — work conversations stay out of personal group texts, in the language each person reads.
Availability and time off, in the app. Crew set the days they work and request time off; scheduling and auto-assignment respect it. No more booking someone who's at their kid's graduation.
How it compares

Most "crew apps" are a website
wearing an app icon.

Rollout

No training day.
No laminated instructions.

01
Invite
Enter a name and phone or email. Crew gets a branded invite text or email.
02
Download
Free from the App Store or Google Play — a real native app on their own phone.
03
Pick a language
English, Spanish, or Portuguese on first launch. Changeable anytime in their profile.
04
Clock in
Today's jobs are already there. First clean runs the same day.

That's the whole rollout. If your crew can use WhatsApp, they can use Rinsebase — and unlike the group text, everything they do in it becomes schedule, payroll, and proof for your business. The group text can go back to being for memes.

Common questions

Crew app FAQ

Is the Rinsebase crew app available on iPhone and Android? +
Yes. Rinsebase has full native apps for both iOS and Android — not a browser tab or a web wrapper. Crew members get an invite by email or text, download the app from the App Store or Google Play, sign in, and they're on the schedule.
What languages does the cleaning crew app support? +
English, Spanish, and Portuguese. Each crew member picks their language on first launch and can change it anytime in their profile — every screen, checklist, and notification is natively translated. Language is set per person, so an English-speaking lead and a Spanish- or Portuguese-speaking cleaner can work the same job, each in their own language.
Does the crew app work without cell signal? +
Photos do. Before/after photos taken in no-signal cabins, basements, and canyons queue on the device and upload automatically when coverage returns, so proof of the clean is never lost. GPS mileage tracking also runs in the background and survives the crew switching over to their navigation app.
Can cleaners fake photos or time entries? +
Rinsebase uses three layers of photo verification: the camera opens directly so crew can't pick old shots from their gallery, the photo's EXIF timestamp is validated so stale photos are rejected, and GPS proximity is checked against the property address. Time entries are GPS clock-in/out records, so timesheets reflect verified time on site.
Is the crew app included in every Rinsebase plan? +
Yes. The crew app comes with every plan — Rinsebase is priced by crew size, starting at $19/month, and there are no separate per-user app fees. Your crew downloads the app free from the App Store or Google Play.

A note from the founder

"My wife runs a cleaning crew, and I watched her translate notes for her Spanish-speaking cleaners every single morning. The crew app is the part of Rinsebase I'm proudest of — because the people doing the hardest work get the tool that was actually built for them."
